The kids had so much fun on their field trip to the Shoshone Ice Caves. They learned all about the volcanic activity that created to cave, and about the people that lived in the area when the volcano was active. We also learned about how the air needs to flow just right to keep the ice in the cave year round. We learned that that in the late 1800s and early 1900s the people in Shoshone and Ketchum would come and take the ice from the cave to use in restraints and bars. What a fun day, and we can't wait for the next field trip

A little about our Family...
Bill and I (Liz) have been married for almost 11 years, and have 3(almost4) wonderful children. Sarah 8, Ander 6, Malah 2, and AnnaBelle will join our family sometime in June of 2009. Bill Served in the Marine Corps for 4 year, and after a deployment to Iraq, Bill got out of the marines and we moved back to Idaho where he joined the National Guard, and was once again Deployed to Iraq for a year. We now have him home with us, and love that. I am blessed to stay home with my children, and home school.
